Open call for any and all vid recs for the new Doctor Who series. I finished watching the first season and I’ve already watched the second, so I’m looking for some good vids to watch to make my DW vid feel inferior.

School and work are going well. They hired some new people, so after they get trained, hopefully, I won’t have as many hours. On the other hand, less hours means less money, but more hours means less time for school and life in general. Most people already know this, but going to school and working in hard, yo.

Last night I was tired and bored out of my mind with no people to wait on and I was way ahead of schedule because I closed the bakery, then I came out to partially close the deli. Mostly I cleaned the deli because I hate not having something to do. You could have eaten off the windows of the case (if you’re into that kinda thing). A new Walmart opened up around here, so business has seriously slowed down. I worked Thursday 12 to 9 and usually I’d have 20 customers an hour, but now that the hugemongous Walmart has a deli/bakery/hot foods thing, we had about 20 customers the whole time I was there. I’ve never really had a job before, but I’m thinking people are going to be let go and the way the schedule hours will get scaled back even more now, so I’m going to apply to a daycare in town and see if they have anything. It’s about 5 feet from where I work now, it’s close to home, and it’s actually in the field I’m going to college for, so those are pluses. That way if my hours do get cut down a lot, I can just have 2 part-time jobs.

I really, truly don’t care if it’s true or not because the thought of Isaiah Washington choking Patrick Dempsey and calling T.R. Knight a bitch is funny, yet distrubing. When I read it, it made me think of Washington’s character in Out of Sight.

I got into CBS’s Smith and they cancelled it after 3 shows, so now I’m left with some unfinished fic and an Amy Smart (Annie) wallpaper:

hollywood’s In the Cold Light of Day A Battlestar Galactica’s Starbuck vid - There’s a real feel for the music and the atmosphere that pulls you in and doesn’t let go until you’re already right there with it. One of the best and most insightful Starbuck vids.

chasarumba’s his/hers A nip/tuck season one Christian/Kimber vid – Right from the beginning, it oozes awesome and sexiness, along with real incite about how bad they are for each other. Beautiful editing, effects, artificial pans, paralleling, color, POV changes, clip choice, time toggles, everything.

DIG! is a documentary, more than the average rock-doc, shot over seven years about the bands, the Brian Jonestown Massacre and the Dandy Warhols, focusing on Anton Newcombe and Courtney Taylor. They start out as friends, but is dissolves into an insane trip through downfalls, friendships, rivals, music, bullshit, drugs, self-sabatoge, success, the music business, and peoples' faces!

This game will eat your soul.

Lib is always on my case not to drink anything while I'm on the computer because she thinks I'll knock it over and fry the computer. Note that I have never done such a thing. So yesterday Lib was drinking lemonade and playing on the computer. And she spilled it all over the keyboard, which is funny because she was always on me saying that I'm clumsy and would be the one to it. So there.

Jon Voight sucks.

I had fun on my birthday despite certain jackassholes who nearly made it awful.

bradcpu's Man or Animal - a Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel vid about how sex is bad, yo, with interesting effects, great editing, and even some laughs.

My birthday blew, but what was I expecting?

I had a new little post all written up about college and family and fandom, but I am soooooo dumb. I had my foot on the unit of the computer and I flipped the switch at the back of the computer off. I feel so stupid, I mean, come on, who does that?

I started watching "Prison Break". I like enough to keep watching it, but I can't help but draw comparisons to "Oz" simply because it's in a prison. It just won't be believable to me until someone is made someone else's bitch. The pulled out pocket thing was creepy and funny though. Sarah Beth might as well pull out her jean pocket and make me hold on to it cuz I am her bitch.

I skipped church on Sunday to watch "Meet the Press" because my VCR stopped working. That's bad right?

Granpa had a series of heart attacks and has been in the hospital since Monday.

Rick is having shoulder surgery. And wasn’t going to tell me.

Prom was... amusing. Oh the drama.

It was an outtake of a photoshoot and when I went to look at the published photos, none of them had the same positioning in the reflection, which made me wonder why they hadn’t used it because that was my favorite part of the whole photo.

The new season of Reno 911 starts June 14th, bitches.

OMG, Sarah S is getting married, Tara V is getting married, Jenny is getting married, Dawn and Brad are already married. What is this? Friends my age, 18, getting married. There really is nothing like a wedding to make a person feel like their life is poo.

First day of my second placement in third grade. At first I thought I was going to hate this one, but it’s good. I miss my little first graders though. And someone needs to explain to me why the 3rd graders are so smelly.

It’s supposed to be about how Sean and Christian switched character roles in a way towards the end of season 2, but then I think I got distracted by the sex and made a porno instead. I’m just happy I finished something. I’ve been working on about 7 projects at once and I finally got around to finishing this one.
