An Italian designer for the stars, Antonio Berardi, has turned down Lady GaGa.
The Milan designer, who counts among his clients Victoria Beckham, Megan Fox, Amber Rose, Eva Mendes and Gwyneth Paltrow, declined an offer from GaGa to collaborate.
"I was approached to design a clothing range with Lady GaGa but I knocked it back because I wasn't interested in someone whose music is meaningless," Berardi said.
GaGa is a performance artist whose musical career is soaring. Songs she has released such as Paparazzi have rocketed up the charts. Her penchant for outlandish costumes, including those with high-voltage shock value, has drawn mixed reactions.
Berardi, who was in Sydney, said: "Her music is meaningless now so what impact will it have in 20 years?"
The Sicilian-born designer of heel-less latex boots worn by Beckham was in Australia for the first Peroni Young Designer Awards, held in conjunction with Harpers Bazaar at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The biggest DJ in the world wants to show you his ones and twos. Jersey Shore castmate admits that he would go nude for Playgirl, and won't wuss out like Levi Johnston. Don't act like you wouldn't click.
Jersey Shore’s self-described “guido” Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio isn’t shy about showing off — after all, after just two episodes of the MTV reality series, he and a housemate hit the sheets, after which she announced that his manhood is pierced.
"I wasn't expecting that it was being filmed," Pauly D told E! Online’s Mark Malkin. "But I don't mind. I mean, it's whatever."
"I didn't tell anyone about my piercing," he added, "but I'm not shy."
Now Delvecchio tells Malkin he wouldn’t mind showing more in the pages of Playgirl ... but unlike Levi Johnston, he’d go full-frontal.

WOW! Our eyes were AMAZED, mouths drooling, hands shaking, as this morning when we received the Ultimate Super Deluxe Limited Edition MONSTER ART BOOK version of The FAME MONSTER set to release on the 15th! Well first, this thing is kinda heavy, thats a plus,as we opened it immediately, we pulled it out to find its wrapped in red cellophane, so we open that up faster than you can say GAGA! The outer case for it is a nice thick black piece etched at the bottom with red ink print stating THE FAME MONSTER in a font so perfect!

I have had a very long day. I went to shoot at a local monument, i made new friends from my PI class, i self-dated for lunch and then some, i fucked up a cup of coffee (SERIOUSLY. how could i do THAT wrong??), i saw Amelia, i watched a lecture on the fanfiction subculture and i went jogging for an hour. I miss being a fangirl.
Exhaustion is the word of the hour.

Last night, Rachel Maddow continued here excellent reporting on the situation in Uganda, updating her story with the news we received late yesterday that the two most heinous provisions of the "kill the gays" bill had been dropped. She also discussed how forced "conversion therapy", now promised by the Ugandan government, is at the heart of the work of her guest from last night, "ex-gay" Richard Cohen.
Her first segment dealt with Cohen and the American evangelicals who encourage anti-gay sentiment in Africa, and in the second segment she talks again with Jeff Sharlet, author of The Family.

*throws things* (<--Within the confines of my imagination. Replacements for the adding machine/trunk telephone/flatscreen monitor that are within reach at the moment do not need to come out of my paycheque, especially not this close to Christmas.)
On the plus side, I'm decently past 1000 words! And I've still got three sections left to write, so when this thing's done, I'll be really decently past 1000 words! So, I guess there's that.
Now, to make all those words deign to venture out of my brain...

I watched Alice, and was suitably entertained. It was re-imagined enough to keep my Alice In Wonderland phobia from kicking in, which was good, because I still quite enjoy Caterina Scorsone (Power Play alum; you may have seen her most recently guesting in a s1 episode of Castle), and it was good to have her on my TV again.

After I whined about the lack of snow 'round these parts, the last two nights flurried up a storm. (Well, two separate storms, really. Regardless: snow!) Which has taught me that whining will get me what I want!
I feel I've learned a valuable life lesson. And, as you can see from the first item of this post, I've already incorporated what I've learned into my behaviour! I'm such a good student.
